Michael Duplechain, MD, is a skilled weight loss physician practicing at MetFit-Rx, located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. 

A native of Melville, Louisiana, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University and went on to receive his medical degree from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Duplechain completed his family medicine residency at University Medical Center in Lafayette, where he was recognized as the Outstanding Resident Graduate and served as Chief Resident during his final year.

Board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Michael Duplechain brings years of clinical experience with Lake Urgent Care, where he also played an integral role in the organization’s former medical weight loss program, providing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans for patients pursuing sustainable health goals.
